At Klymit, we are committed to making our brand and products as environmentally friendly as possible in a number of ways. Starting with our partner factories, through certificates we receive through certain requirements, our lifetime warranty or the commitment to various organizations of our distributors sporttech.

Factories & Materials
The partner factories and long-term suppliers pay attention to sustainability of resources. All suppliers employ their staff under social compliance standards. To ensure that these aspects are adhered to, the factories are regularly inspected.
Code of Conduct
The following points are considered in our Code of Conduct:
  • Transparency
  • Non-discrimination
  • Harassment and Abuse
  • Recruitment and Hiring
  • Freedom of Association & Collective Bargaining
  • Hours of Work
  • Compensation
  • Health & Safety
  • Environment
  • Community
The Code of Conduct was reviewed through a BSCI AUDIT process.
All products are PVC free.
Klymit collaborates with GreenGuru, a company that uses faulty and broken Klymit products to make upcycling for their own products. This gives defective products a second chance.
The down used comes from RDS certified farms.

Responsible Down Standard (RDS), certifies products that contain feathers and down from certified farms. It ensures that the feathers and the duvet used in the padded products derive from geese and ducks raised in compliance with the principles and criteria of animal welfare.

Currently Klymit is working on a BlueSign certified collection.

The Bluesign standard is one of the most efficient ways to guarantee compliance with the newest environment, health, and safety standards, without compromising functionality, quality, or design of products. The first version of the Bluesign standard was released in 2000 to answer the demand for environmentally friendly textile products. Patagonia was the first apparel brand to become a Bluesign system partner.
Bluesign provides a comprehensive production control system to limit the human health and environmental impacts of textile manufacturing.
Bluesign uses an Input Stream Management system to audit all components and processes along the textile value chain, resulting in an entirely safe finished product.
Overall, Bluesign guarantees sustainable production processes as well as high levels of safety both for human beings and the environment
The Bluesign certification guarantees the following:
  • free of harmful substances

  • safety for businesses, consumers, and the environment

  • lower air emissions

  • reduced water emissions

  • increased resource productivity

  • more production transparency and trust

Lifelong Guarantee
At Klymit, we are committed to the highest level of materials and workmanship. We stand behind our products with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee on our sleeping pads and inflatable products and a 2-Year Guarantee on all other Klymit products. For all warranty claims, simply contact our customer service  and ship your product to the address provided. For our full warranty policy, please click here.
Items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Klymit. This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear and tear, commercial use, accident or external causes. Unauthorized repair, modification or customization of your product voids this warranty. If a replacement product is unavailable or discontinued, a comparable product will be substituted.
All products covered under warranty will be repaired free of charge.
When we've repaired your product or deemed it necessary to provide a replacement, we will cover return shipping to all addresses.

We use as little plastic as possible. The sleeping mats are shipped without plastic packaging. The packing bag is sufficient protection. The cartons we currently use for shipping are cartons left over from other brands and not specially branded Klymit cartons. This is to avoid overproducing cartons.
